Indian Wells Introduces a Resident-Focused Facebook Page

Residents of Indian Wells will now be able to follow the City for the latest news, messages and updates on the City’s new Facebook page. Indian Wells currently has a Facebook page that touts the many travel destination amenities of the City, while this new page will focus solely on its residential audience. Information on the new page will address community meetings, important public information, Resident Benefit Card information and other elements of the Indian Well resident experience.

“The City’s new Facebook page will provide a convenient venue to communication with the residents and keep them up to date on events, news and activities of interest to them,” said Mayor Kimberly Muzik. “This new page will make it easy for residents to ask questions, provide feedback and gain information. A well-informed community is a better connected community, and we are seeking to achieve both of these objectives with new communications enhancements we have planned at the City.”

In addition to providing information on the latest happenings in the City, content will focus on address common resident questions and aprising them of City initiatives. It will also be a means of communicating important information such as road closures, infrastructure improvements and news from City Hall.

“It’s our hope that this page will work to connect our citizens and make the community even more informed and engaged,” remarked Wade McKinney, City Manager.
