City to Provide Local Residents with $100 Discount on Ring Devices

The City of Indian Wells has announced a subsidy match program to provide discounts to Indian Wells residents who wish to purchase select Ring home security devices. Beginning February 27, 200 codes will be available for qualifying Indian Wells residents to have the opportunity to receive a $100 discount toward select Ring devices funded by the City and Ring.

The subsidy match program will kick off with an event on February 27 at the City of Indian Wells City Hall where eligible residents can apply to participate in the program and redeem discount codes toward purchases made during the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Participate

  • Discount codes will be available for eligible Indian Wells residents to receive and redeem in-person at the kick-off event on Thursday, February 27 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Residents must present a valid form of ID and a copy of a utility bill at the event in order to verify Indian Wells residency and receive their subsidy discount information.
  • Discounts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and applied at checkout by a Ring team member toward the purchase of eligible Ring products at the event. Only credit card purchases will be accepted, no cash or checks.
  • If all program discounts are not redeemed during the kick-off event, the City will post an application form to their website allowing other residents to participate until the program funding limit has been reached.

About City of Indian Wells Subsidy Match Program

The Subsidy Match Program uses a combination of City-approved funds matched with funding from Ring in order to provide $50 discount codes for up to 200 residents toward the purchase of select Ring Video Doorbells and Cameras, which connect to a user’s mobile device via the free Ring app (iOS/Android). The City of Indian Wells is funding $50 of the subsidy discount code and Ring matches $50 per household. Discount codes will be provided to eligible residents during the program period and may be redeemed only toward devices purchased directly from Ring at the event, based on the program parameters and participation details listed below.

  • Subsidy discount codes are limited to one per household and cannot be reused or applied toward previously purchased Ring products.
