Bruce Whitman is a lawyer and author. He has been married to Ginny Conlan Whitman, also a lawyer, for forty two years and has two sons, Jake, founder and CEO of Reallygoodboxedwine.com, and Andrew, a practicing lawyer with the Allen Matkin law firm in Los Angeles. 

Bruce and Ginny created the “Whitman Fellowship” at the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2015. The Fellowship now has five alumni of the program and a sixth will be starting work this summer.

Bruce authored and published a book, The Inner Jury (Pine St. Press., 2014). The Inner Jury, a 2015 Lawyers Summer Reading List Selection of the ABA Journal, focuses on how trial lawyers can use psychoanalytic principles and unconscious communication in the courtroom.

Bruce and Ginny have been seasonal residents of the Coachella Valley since 1999. In 2015, Bruce and Ginny retired and moved to Indian Wells, where they enjoy the superior quality of life offered by Indian Wells. Bruce was appointed to the Indian Wells Golf Resort Advisory Committee in 2017 and reappointed for a second term in 2019. Bruce was elected to City Council in 2022 for a four-year term.
