Highway 111 Pavement Overlay/Rehabilitation Project – Phase 1

In January 2020, the City was awarded a grant from CalRecycle to use rubberized pavement for the reconstruction and overlay of Highway 111 from Village Center Drive to Eldorado Drive. The project took approximately 60 days to complete.

By using rubberized pavement, this project diverted approximately 5,833 California waste tires (or passenger tire equivalents) from the waste stream.
